5 Mistakes Most People Make When Trying To Change Their Body

5 Mistakes Most People Make When Trying To Change Their Body

1. They Go On A Diet
What you eat today you’re going to wear tomorrow!

Diets do not work! The very nature of a diet is setting up the person who decides to embark upon one for failure from the start. Diets may cause initial weight loss and even rapidly but it is not sustainable, healthy or quality weight loss. Did you know that 90% of people who go on diets end up putting the weight back on that they lose plus an additional 2bls?
Think about it. If you consider that every single cell in your body is made up from the foods that you eat and the nutrients that you assimilate then you can appreciate when I tell you that what you eat today you are going to be wearing tomorrow.

The weight that they do lose is very often water and muscle with very little fat loss. This is due to the nature of a diet being a starvation method, either by massive calorie reduction, too much too fast, and/or going for long extended periods of time without food or nutrition. Most diets work by excluding one or more food groups which of course would result in weight loss but also leaves the person malnourished, sick, tired and unhealthy. As a survival mechanism the body enters starvation mode and in an attempt to conserve energy will slow down all the bodily and metabolic systems, this eventually leads to rapid weight gain due to the fact that the dietary habits they embarked upon just were not sustainable and it becomes inevitable and just a matter of time until they give in, binge and eat everything in sight.
If you eat too many of the wrong foods, high saturated fat, fried foods, high sugar foods, refined processed man made foods that the body was not designed to consume then those very foods are what will be broken down and engineered into your muscles, your skin, your hair, your nails, your eyes, your bones, your vital organs, everything!

If you want to lose weight for a week go on a diet if you want to lose fat and change you body for good change your lifestyle!
So if you want a young, healthy, youthful looking face with smooth soft skin, a firmer, more tight and toned body then you must consider the basic raw material that you are putting in your body.

2. They Fail To Identify & Focus On What They Want
Give your body what it needs, fresh, undercooked, raw fruits and vegetables, green leafy salads, high quality lean sources of protein and wholegrains and you will not only feel better but you will look better!

Most people when you ask them what they want will immediately tell you what they do not want. “I don’t want to be fat, I want to lose this belly, I want to lose weight or I’m fed up with looking and feeling like this”. Which tell us that this person is focused on all the things that they don’t want, and this doesn’t exactly inspire the person and drive them with encouragement.
What is the point of wearing nice clothes if the body that displays the clothes does not do them justice… A lean, firm, strong and healthy body makes the clothes that you wear and that all starts with the foods that you eat.

To get what you want you must first identify exactly what it is that you want. If you want to weight a certain amount then identify and state that, if you want to only have a certain amount of body fat then decide what it is to be a state it, if you want to look or feel a certain way then make decision and state it. Clarity is power and is the first step to achieving anything!
So if you take pride in your appearance and you like to look good then next time you consider putting something in your mouth purely because it tastes good in the moment then take a moment to think and ask yourself, “Is this something that I want to be wearing on my body in days to come?”

OnlyAnd if it isn’t then can you startit’s time to make a plan towards its attainment. Howbetter choice and select the foods that you would want to wear with pride and that will leave you ever know if you hit your target when you don’t know what it is you are aiming at. Chase the thing you want instead of running away from what it is you don’t want. “Whatever you resist will persist”.feeling and looking fabulous.

3. They Don’t Get The Proper Help

A coach and a trainer can be invaluable!
Until next time

So many people will try to do everything on their own or they won’t try at all. Both methods will greatly limit how far you will go and how quickly you will get there. All professional athletes have a coach to help them to get the best out of themselves on a consistent basis. Self motivation is great but it is only a small amount of what is possible when combined and compared to what you can achieve with the help of an experienced coach who has the skills and the distinctions to help you to go further faster. Someone who has your best interests at heart and has your success as their main concern.

I used to try to do everything on my own. I thought asking and seeking help was a sign of weakness and I was all into proving to people what I was capable of. Then I learnt that having someone to help you, be part of a support system for you isn’t weakness, its intelligent. A coach doesn’t do the work for you, they just hold you accountable, keep you on track, get you to follow through and not just know what to do but they get you to do what you know. A coach can offer a broader perspective and offer solutions and alternatives that you may never have thought about or considered on your own. A coach isn’t necessarily better then you they just have the skills and the know how to get you to perform better. When I started to employ the use of a coach all areas of my life started to improve at an accelerated rate.

4. They Fail To Get A Proven System For Success
Forget your age!

This is key. So many people have the motivation, have the drive and the commitment, they are inspired and they get their buts in gear. They have all the energy and the will to take action and they go for it full steam ahead. The only thing they lack is a proven system for success…
Did you know that there are 3 different types of age?

They lack a strategy to get them from where they are to where they want to be. They haven’t found a system for eating, for working out, for setting goals for all the things that they want to achieve in regards to their physical body. So many people hit the gym, go running, try to eat healthy but have no real structure or no real system to follow. They expend all this time, energy and effort but never really get anywhere, and if they do its only temporary until their progress stops because they lack a plan of action with a proven system for getting results.
There is your Chronological age, which is the amount of years since your birth date. There is Biological age, which is the physical age or condition of your body.
And there is Psychological age, which is the age of your mindset, how old you think and act.

Get a proven system for success at www.BodyByAdam.co.uk! You may then also be interested to know that your Chronological age, how old you actually are in years, has the least amount of influence and impact on how long you live.

5. They Give Up
That’s right both the quantity and the quality of the years you are alive a mostly influenced and affected by both your Biological and your Psychological age.

Unfortunately this is all too common and is ironically usually a result of one or more of the first 4 mistakes. If someone is not making progress and not seeing results then it is only a matter of time before they inevitably give up.
The physical condition and health of your body, your internal organs, your muscle tissue, your heart and lungs, your circulatory system, the health of every single cell combine to result in your Biological age. Some one may be 30 years old but have the physical condition, the internal organs, the body of a 50 year old. Vice-versa a 50 year old could have the health, fitness, wellness and youth of a 30 year old.

Frustration, discouragement, disappointment and heartache are all a common theme in so many people when trying to change their bodies and it usually stems from them making one or more of the above mistakes and when they do experience any one of the above mentioned negative meotions on a regular and ongoing basis it is only a mtter of time that their brain will allow them to continue suffering in pain until it says enough something must change and it that moment, a decision is made, a decision to either change their approach and find an alternative solution, plan of action or method or they just give up.
Then there is the Psychological age. This includes the beliefs, the values, the mental attitude, the playfulness, the outlook on life and the energy of a youthful person. The mind has an undoubtedly powerful effect over the physical body, one that very few ever realise or utilise, and so has a huge influence over the bodies health, wellness and physical condition.

Obviously it is always better to change the approach when results and progress are not being made but only if the change in approach is the right one. And this will be the case if you simply avoid these 5 mistakes when trying to change your body.
Research and studies have shown that those with the youngest Biological and Psychological age are less likely to get sick, develop disease and die early. They not only statistically live longer but they enjoy a much better quality of life while they are alive.

Seek the proper help, get a proven system for success, identify with clarity what it is you want and focus upon it and create the lifestyle and habits to make it all sustainable for long term results. And of course never ever give up!
The absolute great news here then is that while your Chronological age is something entirely out of your control, you cannot change your birthday, you can control, influence and effect both your biological and psychological age through exercise, nutrition and changing your perspective on life. You really can control, freeze and often reverse time. You can quite literally turn back the hands of time on your body and your health.

Go to www.BodyByAdam.couk to find out how to avoid all of these 5 mistakes and to change your body as rapidly as possible and make the results last!
You may not always be able to add years to your life, but you can certainly add live to your years!
